- Event Pop ups: An alert pops up indicating water leakage at W4 St Station. The player decides to address the issue, tapping the maintenance option and spending $10,000. This improves that specific station conditions, increasing happiness by 1% and granting 100 experience points. In another case of an event, news of a riot at Union Square Station emerges, requiring police intervention. The player chooses to ignore the incident. The player has no idea what the negative impact will be until it happens. Ignoring it ended up costing $15,000 in damages and a 1% drop in happiness due to the negative impact on commuter safety. Finally, An urgent notification alerts the player to a rat infestation at Astor Place Station, threatening commuter satisfaction. The player tackles the problem head-on, deploying pest control measures that cost $0.5 million but restore station cleanliness, improving happiness by 3% and granting 100 experience points.
- Progression and increasing player level: The player plans to expand their network by adding the Broadway and Lafayette St. station to their map. They select the construction menu, and place the new station anywhere they want which will cost them $2 million to build. Building new stations grants experience points depending on how expensive they are.
- Upgrading: To recover from the riot incident, the player decides to upgrade Union Square Station, enhancing its facilities and capacity. The upgrade costs $2 million but significantly boosts the station's efficiency, earning the player 500 experience points and increasing happiness by 3%.
- Leveling up: With the recent achievements, the player reaches Level 6, unlocking new features and stations in the game. The level-up is celebrated with a brief animation and a summary of new unlocks and bonuses.
