Beginning?
The player start the game with a “free” station given to them as their home base, 14 St-Union Sq Station, which is a big transfer station in real life. Their initial fund is 2 billion dollars, suffice to build another station with the cost of 1 billion dollars, and build 1 subway track that connects in between. Depending on the distance between the two stations, the track will cost anywhere between 0.8 billion to 0.95 billion and leaving the player left with 50 to 100 million. At the beginning of the game, the player only has options to construct in Manhattan. The options for constructing in Brooklyn, Bronx, Queens, Staten Island, and Long Island will be unlock as the game progress.
Progress?
Once the player has at least 2 stations and 1 running subway track, they gain income from the train operating.
Income: In game, 1 second is 4 hour in real life, which means 1 day is 6 seconds. The income number here is a rough range for each station. In the gameplay, the number will be added and subtracted with another random number to reflect the random fluctuation of passenger flow in real life. Some events will also cost and/or provide additional income.
Additional station: If an additional station on an already built track, then the player only pays the new station fees but no additional charge to build the track.
Additional train: If an additional train line is opened between station A and station B and there is another train line with the same color that already exists, then no additional track is needed. However, if all existing tracks between station A and station B is of different color, then then an additional track is needed. When constructed, the train line will be color coded, adhering the MTA train branding colors.

Upgrade station: after a station is built, more and more customers will come to take trains at the station. The station will need an upgrade in space or need an addition of new train lines. If neither is met, the satisfaction of the riders will decrease, vice versa.
