SimTrain is a mobile subway-building simulation game. The game is targeted toward audience of all demographics and all gaming experience. Some highlight features including:
- Optimized for horizontal & offline play, allowing players to enjoy while taking the MTA.
- Infinitely game length, so the player will also find something to do to keep them coming back.
- Features the real New York City map as the construction area and real Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA) train lines as building blocks.
- Pop up events associated with real events at MTA stations and trains to guide passenger behavior.
- Social sharing functions for spreading the game.
- Potential places for advertisement to provide an additional source of revenue for MTA.
As the game progresses, players gain experience, allowing them to level up, unlocking new areas, train types, building construction sites: all to encourage the player to keep coming back. We hope by understanding MTA’s operation mode and realizing the challenges MTA is facing, the player will regulate their behavior at the train or on the station, to achieve MTA’s goal.
